I'm back

Ya missed me, didn' ya? Yeah, my writer is back from vacation, so y'all get th' pleasure o' my company for a while now. She ain't got any long breaks comin' up till summer, so it looks like you'll hafta put up with me for a while yet.

I'm catchin' up on replies. Ain't had much time or energy t' write over break, so I'm behind. Hopin' t' catch up here soon, now that I ain't around a million distractions.

New Year's Resolution and Stuff

Alright, so I ain't one t' believe in th' usual human "lose weight" or "exercise more" resolutions. That's just askin' for failure. Speaking completely META, I mighta consulted one o' my writer's other muses, an' he an' I had a good chat.

Resolution used t' mean somethin'. For humans, it was a promise b'fore th' gods, usually for somethin' dangerous that they'd do or die tryin' t' do. Wasn' any other honorable way outta that promise. Failure was unthinkable.

Rokea don' believe in takin' on a challenge that's outta our limits t' begin with. Sea an' Kun want us t' survive, after all. But I ain't breakin' my word t' Sea an' Kun either. I say I'm doin' somethin', I'm gonna do it.

Lately, I been in more contact with th' wolf-changers, an' so far I ain't seen any reason for th' attack that wiped out my slew. Ain't sure what happened, beyond th' Qyrling that had control of Wavecrest. Wanna find out why th' wolf-changers attacked All-Seas t' begin with. T' do that, I gotta visit Australia. At least six Grottoes there. This might be stupid, but I gotta know, ya know? Gotta know if the wolf-changers can be trusted.

So that's my resolution.
