I might be dropping, or at least making inactive for now, three of my characters. Considering how much energy I have, how often I work, and recent things that have made them less fun to play, it may be for the best, but I'm going to wait to make the call until after Tuesday.

Characters involves are Taliesin, Kevin Hawking, and David. Not going to post anything new with them, but if anyone wants to finish tags with them, I am open to that.

Adrien, Danilo, and Gregorio are less active for the moment as I research things and refine their information.

I owe posts on a couple different toons and will be getting to them tonight if things are slow.

Not really sure what to do here. *sigh* I've been without inspiration to write this character for a couple months now, and it's not gotten any easier with most of the characters he interacts with MIA. So, yeah. How do you find inspiration when drive to write the character just dies? Me? I used to talk, joke, whatever with people I RP with...buuuut yeah. Most of the people I normally RP with have been gone for longer than usual. Would really love ideas. I like the character, I even have a plot, but... *sigh* Hard to get back in the right frame of mind.

This Mongol was gonna do it, right here in th' middle o' th' street. He had a gun in his hand an' held my shirt in his clenched fist. I growled, "You ain't got a clue who yer messin' with, son. I owe an apology to people I RP with. I'm sorry I haven't been consistent as I had hoped I'd be. Real life seems to be conspiring to keep me just on the other side of stressed out. It has crossed my mind, more than once, that it would be far less stressful if I were to move to Florida and live with relatives there. Only problem with that is I wouldn't have a job until I passed Florida's guard training, and moving with no job sorta makes paying bills difficult. Not to mention school, which I do need to finish and which is here in Augusta, not in Florida.

So, needless to say, several things in real life have to be put on hold to deal with one family crisis after another. Family is not making this any easier. Ungrateful... *sigh* There's a lot going on.

Point is, I'm stressed out but I AM trying to post. NPR has been the one to suffer most, because his is the voice that comes easiest to me when I'm relaxed, and I SO haven't been in the last two months. I have the gray hair to prove it. Yes. Gray at 24. That is how stressed I am.

Be patient with me? I'm trying.

I have WAY too many cats to find homes for at the moment. I don't know what to do with all of them and some of them are in danger of being sent to animal control. I can't afford to keep feeding them and I can't afford to fix them and so they've been multiplying like rabbits. I need help. If anyone knows a good place to send them, I'd apprieciate it. I'm willing to travel. All the shelters in the Augusta, GA area are full.

I have 1 mother (about a year old) with 4 kittens that are all very tame. The kittens are still nursing but should be weaned soon.

I have 1 female (about a year old) that is probably pregnant again. She's not showing yet so now would be the time to get her spayed. She is also friendly and fairly tame, but she's a bit neurotic about being closed in.

I have one female (about a year and a half old) that is very kittenish in appearence. She's very active and vocal, but slightly skittish. We're fairly certain she'd calm down if she were spayed. We can't afford the surgery. She has been raised indoors by our two (neutered) male cats.

The other three kittens belong to an outdoor female that I know we won't be able to find a home for unless someone is willing to put in a LOT of TLC. The female is over two years old and has been a stray for most of that time. We had her mother spayed after she was finished weaning that litter, but unfortunately for Calisto, she and her brother Lars got away from the cat trap and have been strays since. She has 3 nearly-weaned kittens that we will probably have to get a trap and catch. The kittens need just a little more TLC than the other 4, since they haven't had as much human contact, but they are beautiful and should come around quickly, especially with how nosy and friendly my two indoor cats are.

10 cats need homes, guys. I can't afford to keep feeding them, and quite frankly my parents have let them get out of hand and won't help to find them homes. Any help would be appreciated.

I owe replies. It's a never-ending cycle with me. I'm sorry. Every time I think things are going great, life comes up and bites me in the ass and I'm left with stress and too many replies to write.

This is the rough draft of a possible end to the Qyrl-plot. Due to real life, the plot is going pretty slowly and so I'm writing this in an effort to allow NPR to move forward without jeopardizing the continuing plot. The hand-waving and vagueness is intentional, since I have no clue yet how the final battle is going to go.

The huge great white swam lazily around the reef, just off the shore of Mexico. He paid no attention to where he swam. His mind was abuzz with the events of the last month. The Qyrling was dead, killed by the wolf-changer. That had surprised the other Kunspawn, and earned the wolf-changer a fair amount of respect in their eyes. No-Prey-Remains felt only relief. The hunt for him was over. Guards-the-Shoals asked the remora to spread the word that he was not to be hunted. No-Prey-Remains had proven himself loyal to Kunspawn in battle, and useful as a Betweener. He'd been offered the use of Storm's Heart Grotto, when he needed it. No-Prey-Remains had thanked the others and promised to return soon. There was something he had to do, though. Something he couldn't do in the waters around Los Angeles.

He swam south, towards Mexico. It only took two days for him to find another Rokea slew. By this time, the remora had been spreading his tale far and wide, and slew knew of him immediately. In cases like this, after such a battle, Rokea asked other, unrelated Rokea to accept the tales of their valor as truth, so that their renown among the Kunspawn would grow even greater. No-Prey-Remains asked and his valor was unchallenged. If he'd been in Long Fins, he'd probably have been grinning, or even calling Anika to tell her the news, because now he was no longer a Brightwater in the Open Sea. He was a Brightwater in the Cold Sea, very close to the same wisdom and valor as the elder Kunspawn. And he knew what Gifts he wanted to learn.

The first spirit he sought was a shark spirit, the spirit of Waves' Whisper Grotto. The spirit challenged him, made him feel the primal fear of being hunted by a cold, relentless being. It challenged him, and when he passed its test, it taught him the Gift he'd been seeking. Like the primal hunter, he'd be relentless in his chosen course. Nothing, not even tricks of Qyrl, would set him off his path. The consequence, of course, was that he'd find it difficult to focus similarly on another task until the first one was complete. His chosen course? The first thing on his mind, the first worry, was the woman waiting for him back in Los Angeles, his children and the family she lived with. His course was to protect them.

Now, No-Prey-Remains swam lazily back towards Los Angeles. There was one other spirit he wished to confront. One other spirit he wanted to learn from, and it lived in the reef he even now swam over, with the other remora. The Gift was the gift of truth-telling, and it was an area in which the remora excelled. With an excited flick of his tail, he darted toward the tiny spirit. He'd have to pass its challenge, but he was a Brightwater. He had no doubt that he would.

This is roleplay only and should not be mistaken for any real life group.

I plan things out in way more detail than I actually RP. Do not be scared by the number of NPCs here, they will mostly only be casually mentioned. The only reason I include names, positions, and detailed descriptions is because I may one day want that information on one of them.
